Cleaning house is something that evokes

emotion in so many women...

...for some it is cathartic

...for some it is a chore that is dread-worthy

...either way it is a necessary part of a healthy life.

Did you ever think that emotion isn't the only

thing these cleaning products evoke?

Well, my friends - there are many many toxins

that are in these chemically compounded

store-bought 'cleaners' that while

our ovens and countertops may be sparkling,

it is wreaking havoc on our bodies.

What about cleaning your bodies?

Taking a shower, a bath, washing your face,

giving your kids a bath, feminine products
...even brushing your teeth

are also exposing you to potential toxins.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfite, Mineral Oil, Dodecyl Sulfate, Parabens, Chlorine

are all found in many daily used products

in our medicine cabinets, showers and sitting on our sinks.

Why are these chemicals even put into products?

These ingredients have been widely used

in products for over 50 years to preserve shelf life.

Sounds harmless enough...

...but little did we know what affect they have been

having on our bodies.

Cancer, diabetes, fibromyalgia,

chronic pain, obesity, etc etc are all on the rise.

RISE?  In our advanced society - shouldn't we be

eliminating such diseases?

SO...what are the alternatives?

There was a great article on this site that

lays out chemical-free ways to mix your own toxic-free cleaners.

Does the task of making your own cleaning products 
sound daunting to you?  

Thankfully, the alternatives are as easily available

and most often times are next to the products

you're already used to.  You don't have to change your routine.

Just your choice.  

We can still spend our time at our
favorite places like Whole Foods, Target, WalMart,
K-Mart or the grocery store.

I have personally used these items and will vouch for them -
they aren't ALL of the available products out there
but they are the start.  Educate yourselves.

exercising regularly and going home and

I am not trying to cause a panic,
I'm here to bring attention to the subject.

I've done my part in research and making the

switch from these chemically-laden products in our home.
Now its up to you - choose what is best
for you and your families.
