That's where we are headed
to celebrate Gigi's 60th!
Can't wait to spend some time in a place
that leaped to the top of my list
last year when we were fortunate to head there for the first time.
So I ask you, fabulous women of blogland ~
What *must* I do, see, shop for, explore in Hilton Head or Savannah?
Antique Stores? Flea Markets? Farmers Markets?
We will be spending a day in Savannah (another FAV city on my list!) -
and will be dining at the Lady n Son's for lunch.

Our FAVORITE place in Savannah is Tybee Island and eating at The Crab Shack is a must with kids!! It is only a 1/2 hour from Savannah. When we were there, the Lady and Sons had looong lines...like a line at breakfast for lunch long...that was 4 years ago, so it may be different...also the locals discouraged us from eating there, they said there were better restaruants. I think the line will help you decide :)
I would highly reccomend taking the hop on hop off tour bus around town in either city, it really hits all the great points of interest. The French Market in Savannah is a MUST too!!

Yay, you're going to have such fun! We did a mini tour of the South years ago and visited both places you mentioned. We made a stop in Beaufort, South Carolina and really enjoyed the small town and seeing the house where the movie The Big Chill was filmed.

Oh that sounds like so much fun. I wish I could give you some advice, but I've never been there. I'm sure you'll figure it out. There has to be some wonderful treasures there. Have a ball.

You lucky, lucky girl! I love Hilton Head...I haven't been there in a long time though. I am longing to go to Charleston, have you ever been there? I hear that it is so pretty. Have fun :)

We spent almost a week in Savannah a few months ago & LOVED it...It is so laid back & beautiful!I'd recommend "The Paris Market & Brocante" for sure it is the best for gourmet coffee & lovely shopping!Have fun!
